Juliette Brown

Juliette Brown's writing for terra incognita has addressed colonial legacies, in 'thinking about race and nation' for empire and I, notions of Britishness in 'born elsewhere' (click for link to this essay), contemporary subjectivities in 'tourism and the global cultural theatre'. Elsewhere she's published on anti-semitism and, in 'Women: A Cultural Review' on queer 'psychosis'. She's interested in principle and practice.

Juliette worked for London Borough of Tower Hamlets in Arts and Events from 2000 - 2004, from a background in academic studies. She has since gone on to study medicine. Despite this change in her day job, Juliette still plays a vital and integral role behind the scenes for terra incognita.
